Applications Engineer

Simio LLC is looking for a highly versatile person to provide engineering support for the Simio software products. Responsibilities include technical support, pre-sales support, consulting, testing, documentation, and training. You will be working in an agile environment as an integral part of the development team.

Requirements for this position include a degree in Industrial Engineering, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and in team settings. Experience in simulation and the Simio product is required. Experience in scheduling is a big plus.

Senior Applications Engineer

If your skills include all the aspects mentioned for Application Engineer (above) and more, consider this position. As a Senior Applications Engineer you will work with more responsibility and a greater degree of independence.  Determine approaches and write functional specifications for larger projects, work as part of a team dealing directly with a customer’s upper management to explain our solutions and benefits. Manage and implement projects to assure customer satisfaction. Become a technical specialist or domain specialist. At least 5 years of pertinent work experience and track record of success is required.

Software Engineer

Simio LLC is seeking a software engineer to develop cloud-based solutions for simulation modeling, create complex product design, product architecture and development, create and implement interface design and databases/data integration, make modifications to correct software errors, improve performance, adapt to client needs, software testing and validation, and lead the development, design, and maintenance of desktop simulation and cloud-based simulation products.

The requirements for this position include a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field and 5 years’ experience with Microsoft .NET framework, .NET Technologies, n-tier architecture, C#, SQL Server, MVC and SaaS.
