About SimioSimio is seeking a talented individual with at least 5 years of experience in manufacturing IT applications, decision support, optimization, supply chain and advanced planning and scheduling (SAP PP/DS, Preactor, i2, PlanetTogether, Ortems, etc.) to join our team in delivering Industry 4.0 solutions. Simio is seeking a software engineer to develop desktop and cloud-based solutions for simulation modeling and scheduling, create complex product design, product architecture and development, create and implement interface design and databases/data integration, make modifications to correct software errors, improve performance, adapt to client needs, software testing and validation, and lead the development, design, and maintenance of desktop simulation and cloud-based simulation products.
The requirements for this position include a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field and 5 years’ experience with Microsoft .NET framework, .NET Technologies, n-tier architecture, C#, SQL Server, MVC and SaaS.

You will be working in an agile environment as an integral part of the development team. We are looking for a leader and an innovator. You will be a senior member of the engineering team and as such demonstrate leadership, mentoring, and training to the less experienced members.
Requirements for this position include at least a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, computer science, math, or other field related to computer software development, engineering, modeling and simulation from an accredited college or university, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and in team settings. Experience in simulation and the Simio product is required. Experience in scheduling is a big plus. At least 5 years of pertinent work experience and track record of success is required.
