Since joining the company in 2019, he has shaped its product roadmap while building a support team that ensures clients maximize their simulation investments. His work focuses on translating complex technical capabilities into practical business solutions that help organizations visualize, test, and optimize operations before implementing changes in the physical world.
Leo brings a strong technical background to his role, drawing on previous positions that complement his current focus on simulation technology. At Shadowmatch/PeopleSync SA, he applied behavioral analytics systems to help organizations optimize team performance. As Director of Supply Chain Modeling at Synchrony Logistics, he developed optimization solutions that improved distribution networks and inventory management. This blend of experience in human systems and technical optimization gives him unique insight into how digital twins can solve real-world operational challenges.
With degrees in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Pretoria and Electrical & Electronics Engineering from North-West University, Leo combines solid technical knowledge with practical application. His approach to product development balances technical innovation with user-centered design, ensuring Simio’s solutions remain powerful yet accessible to clients across industries.
