Tips & Tricks from the Simio Team

Animating People Movement

In the Simio Project Symbols, there are several animated people that come automatically with Simio. With these animations (located within Library\Animated), you can specify various animations that the people can perform during model runtime.

"List Animation of Active Symbol"

The syntax “ModelEntity.Animation” is able to be referenced and specified during runtime. In the gif below, various processes are triggered by Events that are tied to various Buttons in the Facility View.

"Properties: Assign3 (Assign Step Instance) - Basic Logic - 'New Value'"

Four pictures of a person in Simio: running, texting, dancing, and walking

Consider using people animation to enhance your model’s visuals!
