Jeff Smith

VP Training & Academic Programs

Jeff directs Simio’s Academic Program and is responsible for the development and deployment of Simio training/learning materials and courses.  Prior to his current position, he spent 32 years as a Professor of Industrial Engineering at Auburn University and Texas A&M University where he taught simulation, manufacturing system design, and data analytics at the graduate and undergraduate levels. He has also worked with Simio in research and consulting roles since Simio’s introduction to the market. Jeff holds PhD and MS degrees in Industrial Engineering from Penn State and a BSIE from Auburn.
