Hi, We have a model where we have multiple entity states. This creates interface challenges in defining and populating these states or changing many of them at a time. My question is, can the UI be bypassed in some way using some kind of batch operations? For example suppose I want to assign 150 entity states using string construction and naming conventions easily set up in a spreadsheet. Is there a way to define all those states and import them from a file rather than hand editing each one in the Definitions UI? Another example is I want to set large numbers of these sta

To model shelves, I am trying to create a series of custom "Shelf" objects (subclass of servers) located in a grid pattern. I used a spreadsheet to automatically calculate the coordinate locations and generate a name (string) for each object based on its position within the grid. With just the Shelf object types in the spreadsheet, can bind the file to my object reference table no problem, import the data, and populate the facility window with my objects. Dear all, I do have a table called machineProperties which describes properties of machines: Machine | ProcessingTime | ... machine1 | 2 |... machine2 | 1.5 | ... In my model I would like to assign the property "Processing time" to machineProperties(DisplayName;"ProcessingTime"). I guess Lookup tables might be working, but unfortunately I do not know how to link them to an Excel file. Does anyone know how to do this? Thank you! Best regards, Stefan
