Drew Rose

Solutions Engineer

Drew Rose is a Solutions Engineer at Simio specializing in stadium operations and crowd flow optimization. His expertise in venue simulation began at Penn State University, where he led a pioneering research project applying queuing theory to fan movement inside Beaver Stadium, one of the nation’s largest collegiate football venues. This hands-on experience provided Drew with unique insights into the challenges of managing large crowds in complex stadium environments.

With a BS in Industrial Engineering and professional experience across discrete, batch, and continuous production environments, Drew brings a distinctive perspective that bridges manufacturing efficiency principles with stadium operations. He has successfully applied these concepts to help venues reduce entry wait times, optimize security checkpoints, and enhance overall fan experience.

At Simio, Drew works directly with stadium operators to develop digital twin simulations that test operational changes before implementation, ensuring data-driven decisions that improve both efficiency and spectator satisfaction.
