Rapid Modeling with Intelligent Objects:

Taking Simulation to the Next Level

Thursday, May 10, 2012

Workshop 8:30am – 3:45pm**

Arlington, TX

Registration $29.00 includes training materials and lunch

This commercial course, regularly $595 per attendee, is being offered for only $29.00 as a way to introduce you to the benefits of Simio. Attendees must bring their own laptops. All pre-registered attendees will be provided with a printed course workbook, a 100 page e-book (Introduction to Simio), and a complimentary copy of Simio Training/Evaluation Software.

What will be covered: This one day course provides a fast start to using Simio, a 3D rapid modeling capability, to effectively solve real problems. We start with a brief overview of simulation technology and it's appropriate use, and the modeling framework. Then we use the Standard Library to solve a variety of problems -- exploring the ease-of-use and power of intelligent objects. Next we learn how objects can interact to provide improved model accuracy and flexibility. We end with an overview of innovative ways to represent and work with model input data and interpret simulation results.

Who should attend: This course is appropriate for industrial engineers and process analysts looking to implement or upgrade their simulation capability, for educators looking to introduce state of art technology into their simulation instruction, and for managers and others who would like to better understand the technology. It is also recommended for those who may use simulation infrequently or who desire a lighter command of simulation technology.

Why use Simio? Simio breaks down the walls of traditional simulation software, giving you the power to rapidly build accurate 3D animated models and objectively analyze alternatives to make informed decisions fast.

Educators: In order to provide the best possible education, students should be educated in a technology and a tool that will provide the greatest benefits both now and after they graduate. There are many compelling reasons why over 450 universities have selected Simio for simulation and scheduling.
